The Service Team Leader Role

As a Service Team Leader, you will support the branches' operations and organise the Service Driving team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and organising routes for our drivers
  • Organising the fleet of vehicles we have
  • Managing a certain number of drivers within the branch
  • Dealing with customer complaints and queries
  • Identifying ways to improve the quality and efficiency of customer service
  • Providing support and development for colleagues in the branch
  • Keeping relevant documentation up to date including vehicle information
  • On occasions, you may need to cover driving routes

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills in a working environment
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment
  • Experience in managing within a service delivery environment would be advantageous but this is something we can offer training on
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
  • Ability to use own initiative and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
