Reporting To: Team Leader
The Role
The role will involve carrying out grounds maintenance activities on a static site. Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
- General Grounds Maintenance
- Grass Cutting and Strimming
- Shrub pruning
- Hedge cutting
- Weed Maintenance
- Herbicide Application (if certificated)
- Litter picking
- Using a range of powered and non-powered horticultural equipment
- Assisting with soft landscaping projects
- Driving company vehicle
- Other duties required by Management within the job holder’s competence
Role holders are also required to:
- Act professionally as a representative of the organisation
- Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
- Ensure client satisfaction
- Initiate suggestions to improve organisational performance
- Complete timesheets and other paperwork promptly
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK driver’s licence
- Garden maintenance experience is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Plant knowledge is advantageous
- Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential
