The Sales and Management Graduate Role
You will start your career with us as an Indoor Sales Support Consultant, responsible for generating sales opportunities for our field sales colleagues via inbound and outbound calls.
The graduate scheme will follow this format:
- Weeks 1-6: Initial Training
You will attend our World Class Sales Academy while shadowing operational and sales staff. Here you will service customers in a specific geographic area, support servicing of various washroom products, and assist with hazardous and toxic waste handling. Training is comprehensive and exposes you to all areas of the business. - Weeks 6-52
In addition to your role as an Indoor Sales Consultant, you will gain exposure to various sales-based roles across the business to develop understanding of customer needs. This period also enables you to complete our Intro to Sales Development Programme. - 12+ months
After gaining broad knowledge of the business, you will decide which area to specialise in, contribute to local projects, and complete the Leadership Development Programme. Potential progression paths include:- Field Account Manager – responsible for sales in a defined patch area.
- Service Team Leader – manage a team of field service colleagues.
- Indoor Sales/Customer Relations Team Leader – lead indoor sales colleagues.
- Regional Account Manager – support key account customers.
- 24+ Months
After two years, progression may include roles such as Sales Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Branch Manager, or roles in Area Central Support. With structured career progression, you are prepared for the next steps within the company.
Qualifications
- A minimum 2.2 degree in BSc/BA in any subject (business-related, transport, logistics, supply chain or management disciplines preferred but not necessary).
- A full UK manual driving licence.
- Target-driven, ambitious and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working in the field dealing with customers face-to-face.
- Desire to work with people and provide excellent customer service.
- Willingness to work hard and have fun.
