We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our dedicated team. If you are AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified with some accountancy experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will support the finance team with various financial reports, while also ensuring that the accounts and finance function are following all statutory requirements and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed reporting of financial and non-financial metrics for month-end reporting
  • Accurate journal completion
  • Ensuring all allocated balance sheet reconciliations are completed
  • Processing of month-end stock reconciliation process
  • Ensuring delivery of all key reports including P&L, transactional reports and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Short and long-range financial planning
  • Supporting the financial reporting accountant with any statutory reporting
  • Ensuring necessary controls are in place for accurate reporting
  • Assisting in the management of headcount reporting
  • Communicating with internal and external auditors
  • Supporting operating areas to help them understand processes, reports and data
  • Any other ad hoc project work

Requirements:

  • AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Previous accountancy experience
  • Strong IT skills in particular with Excel
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
