About the Opportunity
Are you an adaptive, intellectually curious, and detail-orientated finance professional? Rentokil Initial is seeking a highly organised Investor Relations Analyst to support our Head of Investor Relations. In this pivotal role, you will help communicate our equity story to the investment community and engage directly with institutional investors, sell‑side analysts, and senior internal stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to coordinate activities between Investor Relations and the wider Finance organisation while contributing to the delivery of our quarterly reporting.
What You Will Do
By working closely with our finance and business teams, you will gain a strong knowledge of the group to ensure you remain well-informed on our performance and overall strategy. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Market & Financial Analysis: Supporting the development and maintenance of our Investor Relations financial model, including analysing company performance against guidance and external consensus. You will also assist with consensus monitoring and analyse analyst coverage of both our company and our peers.
- Communications & Reporting: Assisting in the production of results announcements, presentations, scripts, factsheets, and supporting verification processes. You will also prepare reports for senior leadership and the Board, help develop the Annual Report, and maintain the ongoing development of our IR Q&A database.
- Event & Stakeholder Management: Helping to plan and organise investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, site visits, and capital markets events. To ensure these events are successful, you will prepare necessary briefing notes and background materials.
- Investor Relations Operations: Addressing the information needs of investors and research analysts while maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records in the IR CRM system, including contact details, meeting notes, and engagement history. You will also support updating the Investor Relations section of the Rentokil Initial corporate website.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment with senior stakeholders.
Experience: Typically 3–5 years of experience in finance, financial analysis, investment banking, equity research, investor relations, or a related corporate environment.
Qualifications: Strong financial literacy, preferably holding an ACA or a similar qualification, coupled with a genuine interest in capital markets and investor communications.
Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience working with financial models. You must also have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, alongside computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
