Interior Plant Maintenance Technician Role:
Working as an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever-growing customer base. Your main duties will include:
- Watering, feeding, and pest control of live plant displays.
- Replacing dead, dying, or overgrown plant displays.
- Maintaining artificial plant displays.
- Assisting with plant display installations.
- Assisting with seasonal installations.
- Ensuring all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed.
- Complying with relevant health and safety.
- Building good supplier and customer relationships.
- Being mindful of possible sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Full UK drivers licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Plant knowledge would be advantageous
- Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however full training will be provided
As part of your role, you will be required to;
- Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
- Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
- Initiate suggestions to improve the organisation\’s performance
- Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
