The Role
Our 4-year Marketing Graduate Scheme is designed to give you a broad and well-rounded understanding of the marketing function across our diverse UK businesses. You will gain comprehensive experience across all facets of the function, from product category support and marketing services to digital strategy and budget management. You will be given your first taste of genuine responsibility within weeks of joining. The success of the programme is highly dependent on your personal drive and initiative to maximise the learning developments on offer.
Key Programme Content:
- Comprehensive Induction (First 4 Weeks): This initial period focuses on essential knowledge building and integration.
- Structured sessions with the marketing team and Marketing Managers to fully grasp their core responsibilities.
- Gaining an understanding of the various local marketing agencies we collaborate with.
- Spending valuable time with front-line (Sales and Service) colleagues to appreciate our customers' needs and expectations.
- Attending key induction sessions within our Sales Academy and understanding how our contact centre operates.
Core Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Supporting Marketing Managers with crucial sales tracking for specific products and services.
- Understanding and utilising our systems and processes, including our leads and enquiries models.
- Driving new initiatives within the marketing function with a scope to create, contribute, and inspire.
Requirements
- A high level of initiative and personal drive to seize opportunities and lead projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to a varied and demanding workload.
- The ability to effectively build and maintain relationships across different business units.
- Highly organised, with proven project management skills, able to perform well under pressure.
- A high standard of IT literacy.
- A degree classification of 2:1 or higher in one of the following subjects: Marketing or English.
