Group Shared Services deliver numerous projects focused both around Business and IT change within the Global RI IT estate. With a focus on the technical and process platforms of Customer, Workplace and Infrastructure Services, the role will work within the team of PMs.

Responsibilities

  • Define, document and carry out medium to large sized projects, alone or with a team, actively participating in all phases.
  • Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project.
  • Agree project approach with stakeholders, and prepare realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and track activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
  • Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
  • Ensure that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.

Experience

  • Demonstrates a passion for IT and ambition to work in a project management framework.
  • Has experience in managing deliverables in a project environment and/or shown a capability within their current/previous roles.
  • Has a good general technical awareness of IT Infrastructure environments.
