The Warehouse Operative - In this role, you will support the Service Manager to ensure the service in our Warehouse runs smoothly. Based in the Croydon branch, you will be working with your colleagues to maintain an efficient and safe environment throughout the facility. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing customer stock for route delivery, ensuring everything is ready to go
- Assisting our drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles
- Working closely with drivers and management to meet customer needs
- Packing, sorting and segregating mats, rolls, sanitary bins, nappy bins and other customer items
- Spending 50% of your time refurbishing vending machines and shipping orders via courier
- Maintain an orderly work area to ensure smooth service centre operations
- Always aiming to meet and exceed customer service expectations
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Organised, self-motivated and reliable
- Demonstrate clear and confident communication skills with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to use own initiative and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
