Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician
Location: Sussex
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role
Working as an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever-growing customer base. Your main duties will include:
- Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
- Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
- Maintain artificial plant displays
- Assist with plant display installations
- Assist with seasonal installations
- Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
- Comply with relevant health and safety
- Building good supplier and customer relationships
- Be mindful of possible sales opportunities
Requirements
Qualifications Experience:
- Full UK drivers licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Plant knowledge would be advantageous
- Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided
As part of your role, you will be required to:
- Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
- Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
- Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
- Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
