The Role
As a Procurement Officer, you will analyse spending data to identify cost savings and efficiencies across the Rentokil Initial businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring key suppliers are managed under contracts.
- Supporting with supplier management on key suppliers.
- Running tenders and informal market pricing benchmarking.
- Managing internal processes related to data gathering.
- Building and maintaining strong relations with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Provide support when required on the management of the waste category.
- Ensuring supplier management information is sent within contracted timeframes.
- Managing internal trackers.
- Sourcing a range of diverse and sustainable products and services.
- Conducting ongoing supplier spending analysis.
- Working with legal colleagues to negotiate draft contracts on service-level agreements.
- Tracking and reporting on critical supplier contract performances.
- Travel to suppliers.
Requirements:
- One year minimum experience in a previous procurement role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT skills in particular Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Confident in handling difficult conversations.
- Strong people skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with people at all levels.
- Excellent team player.
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
- Full driving licence.
