Rentokil Pest Control is hiring a Graduate Pest Control Technician to serve the Walthamstow, Chingford and surrounding areas. No prior experience is required; full industry-leading training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify risks.
  • Tackle pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
  • Offer advice on maintenance and hygiene to customers.
  • Complete accurate reports after each visit.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional image.
  • After initial 6-12 months, select a career path: Sales Surveyor, Field Biologist, Service Team Leader, or Key Account Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc related subject (including social science) or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism.
  • Desire to work hard, enjoy customer interaction and have fun.
  • Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
  • DBS check may be required depending on the role applied to.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Basic salary: £27,788 per annum + £3,000 London weighting allowance.
  • Expected OTE: £32,566 per annum with bonus and commission schemes.
  • Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone and uniform.
  • Full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday (40 hr week) with potential for up to 48 hours in future with increased salary.
