Trainee Property Preservation Technician

We are seeking a Technician to join our dedicated team at the Barrhead branch, covering the Central belt of Scotland. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and solving unique customer problems in person, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Technician Role

As a Technician, you will play a key part in delivering work for our customers on both domestic and commercial jobs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out preservation works on site which could include stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows
  • Supporting damp proofing and removing wall coatings including plaster, woodworm treatments, wall tie installation and cavity drain membrane installation
  • Offering valuable advice to customers and providing a high level of service
  • Adhering to all risk assessments and health & safety measures on-site
  • Ensuring sites are left clean and tidy
  • Completing other required tasks within the branch as required

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
  • Experience working as a Labourer or Tradesman within the property or construction industry would be advantageous
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
  • You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
