Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role:

Working as an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base. Your main duties will include:

  • Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
  • Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
  • Maintain artificial plant displays
  • Assist with plant display installations
  • Assist with seasonal installations
  • Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
  • Comply with relevant health and safety
  • Building good supplier and customer relationships
  • Be mindful of possible sales opportunities

Requirements:

  • Full UK drivers licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Plant knowledge would be advantageous
  • Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however full training will be provided

As part of your role, you will be required to:

  • Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
  • Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
  • Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
  • Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
