The Specialist Hygiene Technician Role
In this role, you will provide a range of hygiene cleaning services across various environments and premises, including biohazard cleaning, flood water damage clean up, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removals, trauma and crime scene cleaning, and more technical cleaning such as factory cleans, high level cleaning, and silo cleaning. Full training is provided.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working reactively in a fast-paced business where work can change from week to week
- Participating in an on-call rota (typical twice a quarter)
- Offering valuable advice to customers when required
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional image at all times
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
- Self-motivated, reliable and proactive
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role
