Join Our Team and Make a Difference! We are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our dedicated team at our Camberley office. Responsible for supporting our Ireland businesses, one of our plant businesses (Ambius) and marketing reporting. Support to other business units may be required as needs arise. Reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Team Leader.

Role Responsibilities

  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of operational and sales information along with regular performance reviews with operational management using excel, google sheets and slides
  • Monthly reporting of marketing spend and sales generated
  • Weekly reporting of sales incentives to drive product sales
  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior management
  • Provide commentary and investigate variances to add value to reports and aid understanding of changing business performance
  • Respond to queries with data accuracy and follow up with investigations of data sources where required
  • Change, adapt and create new reporting as required to meet business needs
  • Deliver budgeting, forecasting and planning support to the Financial Controller and the management accountant.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain open and good relations with the operations director and the branch managers.
  • Understand challenges, customer and business performance issues that are specific to individual areas.
  • Provide explanation and understanding of budgets and targets to branch managers and senior leaders.
  • Identify variances and communicate these in a professional manner during monthly reviews with senior management.
  • Provide assistance and support to the Management Accountants to ensure the accuracy of accounting information.

Requirements

  • Strong excel and google sheets experience required e.g. formulas, pivot tables and charts
  • Ability to manipulate and draw trends from large data sets
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
  • Some database knowledge Qlik, Big Query, Data Studio would be beneficial but not essential
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet month end deadlines
  • Studying or looking to start studying CIMA / ACCA / AAT
