The Role
Working as a Roof Terrace Maintenance Technician, you will work on site ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing exterior customer base. This opportunity is for someone looking to join a busy, fast paced business where you will be working with a friendly and welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company in the Interior and Exterior planting sector where progression and development are encouraged.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing irrigation and watering to plants as required
- A small amount of pedestrian grass cutting and strimming
- Shrub pruning, plant care
- Weed maintenance and pest control
- Complete all digital records required through smart phone application
- Liaising with customers
- Autumn clearing
- Spring preparation
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK drivers licence
- Garden maintenance experience is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Plant knowledge would be advantageous
- Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
As part of your role, you will be required to:
- Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation
- Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
- Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
- Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
- Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
