The Role:
As a Trainee, you will work closely with our experienced Supervisors and Operatives to learn the ropes of the industry. You will be supported every step of the way as you learn to:
- Assist in asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning within the Utilities Sector
- Follow strict Plans of Work and health and safety guidelines to keep yourself and the public safe
- Learn to use, maintain, and care for specialist Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)
- Operate asbestos removal plant and equipment under expert supervision
- Provide excellent service to our customers while representing the DCUK FM brand
Requirements:
We don’t need you to have a background in asbestos; we hire for attitude and reliability. To be successful, you only need:
- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Great Customer Service Skills: You’ll be the face of the company on-site, so a friendly and professional approach is key
- A Can-Do Attitude: You should be keen to learn, use your initiative, and not be afraid of a hard day’s graft
- Flexibility: Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions carefully
- DBS Check: You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on specific project requirements
