Summary: Urban Planters has been delivering bespoke planting & landscaping solutions across the UK since 1965. This role supports the company’s mission to beautify homes and workplaces through sustainable, high-quality horticulture.
Responsibilities:
- General grounds maintenance
- Grass cutting and trimming
- Shrub and hedge pruning
- Weed control and herbicide application (where certified)
- Litter picking and site tidying
- Operate a range of powered and non‑powered horticultural equipment
- Assist with soft landscaping projects
- Drive company vehicle where required
- Perform any other duties assigned by management within your competence
Professional Conduct:
- Represent the organisation in a professional manner
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Ensure client satisfaction at all times
- Propose suggestions to improve organisational performance
- Complete timesheets and paperwork promptly
Qualifications & Experience:
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in garden maintenance (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Plant knowledge advantageous
- Horticulture qualification desirable but not essential
