We are currently seeking an DCUK FM Asbestos Operative to join our dedicated team, covering the London area.

The Role

Your role as an asbestos operative involves covering a designated geographical area and supporting our customers by resolving asbestos issues. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning within the Utilities Sector
• Adhering to Plans of Work, UK legislation, specifications, and health and safety guidelines
• Following directives from the Asbestos Removal Supervisor
• Properly using, maintaining, and caring for all PPE, respiratory equipment, and removal tools, reporting any malfunctions

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in asbestos removal is advantageous
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence preferred but not essential
• Asbestos Awareness Training preferred but not essential
• Can-do attitude, initiative, and excellent communication skills
• Customer service skills with a friendly, enthusiastic approach
• Ability to pass a DBS check if required
