Position: DCUK FM Asbestos Operative – Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom

Pay: Competitive Salary Package: Start with a basic salary of £133.90 per day.

Benefits: Mobile phone, uniform and RI Rewards.

Full‑time, permanent role – Monday to Friday (40‑hr week), with potential for up to 50 hours on certain projects.

Industry‑leading training and support for Asbestos needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform asbestos removal, encapsulation and environmental cleaning within the Utilities Sector.
  • Adhere strictly to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Follow directives from the Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, immediately reporting any malfunctions or defects.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Asbestos Operative course.
  • Asbestos certificate.
  • Red CSCS card.
