Join SaferHandCare at Rentavilla4u as a Healthcare Assistant. This temporary role is based in Sevenoaks, TN14, with 24/7 on‑call duties and flexible shifts.
Pay: £13.68 – £18.00 per hour. Hours: Long days and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Support mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Listen to concerns and offer empathy and support.
- Encourage social interaction and engage residents in activities.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements.
- Monitor and record fluid and food intake.
- Assist or administer medication as per training and care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs; report concerns to senior staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable environment.
- Clean and sterilise patient‑care equipment.
- Follow infection control protocols.
- Promote independence and dignity.
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Respect cultural and personal preferences.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home or domiciliary care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
- Completion of Care Certificate (desirable).

- Dependable and committed to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
