We are recruiting Children's Residential Workers for Children's homes across Kent. In return for hard work and commitment you can expect competitive pay and conditions, and a range of benefits, a high-quality induction and ongoing training and development. £13.68 per hour.
As a Children's Residential Worker you will be providing nurturing, supportive, and structured care for children and young people in residential homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting individuals with activities, daily life, educational, emotional development, and trauma recovery.
Qualifications:
- Experience working within a Children's setting, at least 2 years.
- Safeguarding training and knowledge of child protection procedures.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience when working with vulnerable children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging behaviours effectively.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
