Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate autonomous car during on-road testing, demo rides, and daily operations; perform real-time risk assessment and necessary interventions.
- Support road operations by providing route safety checks, on-site assistance, and handling unexpected situations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections, basic functionality checks, passenger ride tests, and support VIP/demo activities.
- Drive safety vehicles to escort autonomous vehicles during testing and operations, maintaining clear communication with the safety operator in the main vehicle.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and charging, and ensure all materials/equipment are prepared.
- Record and report any road obstructions, incidents, or abnormal situations encountered during operation.
- Support assigned tasks across different operational areas and participate in required training.
- Assist with evidence collection and communication during minor on-site incidents.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
- No major traffic accidents in the past 3 years.
- Experience in ride-hailing, taxi, bus operation, or logistics driving is a strong advantage.
- No history of impaired driving or other major violations.
- Able to accept shift work, overtime, and cross-city support when needed.
