A confidential international engineering company specialising in anaerobic digestion and biogas technologies is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth across the UK and Ireland.

This is an opportunity to lead technically complex renewable energy projects from initial contract award through to commissioning and operational handover, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The Role

  • Manage multiple AD and biogas plant projects simultaneously.
  • Lead project delivery from contract award to successful commissioning.
  • Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, installation teams and commissioning engineers.
  • Build strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines and financial performance.
  • Monitor risks and ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with international engineering teams when required.

About You

  • Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical or Process Engineering).
  • Proven project management experience within industrial plant engineering.
  • Experience within anaerobic digestion, renewable energy, utilities, waste management, water treatment or process industries would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent planning, communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of engineering contracts is beneficial.
  • Fluent English is essential. Additional European language skills would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
