Renishaw UK Sales Limited (‘RUK’) is a key sales and distribution company of the Renishaw Group. RUK supplies to third‑party customers in both the UK and some overseas locations, and also sells goods to other Renishaw subsidiaries (primarily across EMEA, plus India and Brazil). RUK has recently implemented a new ERP system, and we’re looking for a proactive and collaborative qualified accountant to join the finance team on a fixed‑term basis, to act as the Finance Manager’s ‘right hand person’ as we embed the new system, further develop our accounting processes, and support business growth.

As this is a period of change, the role has some core responsibilities, as well as some that will be more ad‑hoc. Core responsibilities include:

  • Accounting, reporting, and management analysis for inventory and gross margin
  • Identifying and developing opportunities to automate accounting processes
  • Supporting the RUK Finance team in applying the requirements of the Group’s Financial Controls Manual

You’ll also be supporting the Finance Manager in ad‑hoc tasks that appear as we better understand issues arising from our system implementation.

About you: We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving finance challenges, identifying and implementing improvements to processes, and working collaboratively across a business. You’ll be a qualified accountant, with a strong technical accounting knowledge and a focus on accuracy and control. You’ll also be proficient with IT and must have prior experience working with Microsoft D365.
