Renishaw is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Manufacturing Services Division.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a team within a precision engineering environment, producing high-quality electro-mechanical products.
Working within a high-mix, high-complexity assembly operation, you will play a key role in ensuring customer demand is met while driving improvements in quality, delivery, safety and productivity.
You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and customer-facing teams to create a positive and high-performing production environment.
- What you'll be doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of operators and technicians.
- Creating a safe, engaged and high-performing working environment.
- Coordinating activities to resolve production, process and quality issues.
- Managing production schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Supporting inventory planning and material availability.
- Analysing performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and efficiency.
- Working closely with engineering, supply chain and product teams to support business objectives.
What we're looking for
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage and develop people.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.
- Confidence analysing data and using performance metrics to drive improvements.
- Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A practical, problem-solving approach and a focus on delivering results.

- Experience supervising a production or assembly team.
- Knowledge of materials planning, inventory control or production scheduling.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- An HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline.
