This role will identify and implement projects aimed at increasing end user adoption and ease of use of our Core Workday Modules, with particular responsibility for Advanced Compensation. The scope of the position requires deep knowledge of the Workday platform and the ability to build trusted relationships with HR and our Divisional Leaders to translate business requirements into viable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- End to end technical ownership of the configuration and ongoing maintenance and support of 2-3 modules/areas of Workday (including Advanced Compensation and shared responsibility for HCM and Security).
- Perform gap analysis on existing processes, proactively research upcoming features/functionality, and recommend solutions that increase end-user adoption and improve the employee experience.
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with HR, functions, vendors, and consultants to understand business requirements, align on strategy and design, solve system usability issues, maximise productivity, and support new HR initiatives.
- Oversee proper use of technologies and provide support, advice, and training on best practice to HR colleagues.
- End to end configuration ownership of multiple projects, from scope, requirements gathering, analysis, development and testing through to implementation.
- Proactively research new functionality and provide recommendations on new features/functionality/technologies that could be used to improve effectiveness, efficiency and user experience.
- Support/provide input to develop the HRIS road map, change control processes and incident management frameworks.
- Business Partner with one of our regional teams on HRIS.
- Provide technical content to support the development of materials to effectively train end-users on how to use Workday.
- Provide expert advice to the business as usual team within the HRIS team.
You are someone who:

- Has excellent communication skills.
- Can pay attention to detail, while not losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Has 3 or more years technical Workday experience, ideally with experience of configuring and using advanced compensation functionality.
- Functional knowledge in key HR competencies and processes including compensation, performance management, recruiting, learning & development, etc.
