Overview
In this role you will develop manufacturing and metrology solutions to support high-volume consumer electronics production. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver fixturing and tooling improvements and contribute to in-house development efforts. You’ll address production challenges, optimize processes, and help scale custom solutions aligned with Renishaw’s technology focus. Responsibilities
- Deliver solutions to manufacturing and metrology challenges in high-volume electronics production
- Design and manufacture bespoke fixturing and workholding to support processes
- Support projects from CAD design through in-house manufacture and solution delivery
- Maintain and continuously improve the in-house development area under tight deadlines
Key requirements
- HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience, preferably milling
- Proficient in CAD/CAM, ideally Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Good understanding of GD&T
- Methodical problem-solving approach
- High manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders across the business
