Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience. Renishaw are currently looking to recruit a multiskilled electronic assembly maintenance engineer at our Miskin facility in South Wales. The role requires you as the successful candidate to work as part of a day shift operation with the responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of assembly production equipment, mechanically and electrically. Knowledge of Surface Mount equipment and automated soldering systems would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Planned preventative maintenance activities on surface mount machines and various related production equipment.
- Reactive and proactive breakdown response.
- Demonstrating good electro-mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Delivering quality workmanship in terms of time, accuracy and job feedback.
- Accurately assessing and communicating fault diagnostic issues and corrective actions to the supervision team.
Key requirements:
- Higher National Certificate (HNC) / City and Guilds in Electrical/Electronic/mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of an engineering based apprenticeship.
- Electronics Assembly equipment experience.
- Basic IT/PC skills as a minimum.
Person Specification:
- Methodical and capable of following verbal and written work instructions.
- Good work attendance record.
- Can work competently on a stand-alone basis or as part of a team.
- A clear thinker with good attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with an excellent diagnostic approach to fault finding.
