Location: Wotton-under-Edge, Glos. Hybrid working 4 days/week onsite. Please note that we are based in a rural location with no public transport.
Renishaw is currently seeking to recruit a Technical Administrator within our Styli, Fixturing and Machine Tool Custom Products Division. This role will be responsible for supporting the design change process for both new and current product designs, along with the opportunity for carrying out additional technical administrative tasks for the division, including supporting the production planners, sales and marketing teams. The individual will enable smooth operation and compliance with Renishaw processes and standards, supporting teams with managing documentation and maintaining data in technical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support reviewing of the daily custom product order intake, and associated status reports for all three product lines.
- Supporting the design process by creating Product Change Plans and adding all relevant system details for new products or changes.
- Maintenance of open design changes and reporting on active change progress.
- Coordination of product changes and monitoring of lead time performance through the departmental functions.
- Creation and maintenance of product bills of materials and structures in our product data manager system.
- Maintenance of master drawings and part list records.
- Review changes to standard products to determine impact on custom product designs.
- Product change communication with Renishaw's manufacturing services division.
- Interaction with the divisional management team to ensure ongoing product change improvement and lead time reduction, including performance monitoring.
- Use of key Renishaw systems: Teamcenter, Syteline and PDM.
Key requirements:
- A minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) level education.
- Good PC skills, with competency in the use of Microsoft packages.
Desirable requirements:
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Previous experience with data/performance reporting.
- Previous expertise in the use of PDM (Product Data Manager), Syteline, Teamcenter.

The successful applicant will be able to work and communicate well within a multi-disciplined team environment, and individually when required. They will be methodical and organised, with the ability to manage their own time, ensuring that the workload is prioritised as required. A can-do attitude with the ability to learn on the job is essential.
