Job Description Salary up to £35,000 (inc.30% shift premium) depending on experience.

Location Stonehouse.

Renishaw has a vacancy for the position of Semi-skilled Manual Operator in the Machine Shop on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is the kitting and de‑kitting of machine tool carousels to support production.

Responsibilities

  • Manual kitting of Ramtic carousels whilst adhering to the quality standard, within the set time.
  • Basic inspection of completed parts in accordance with quality documentation.
  • Maintain the high standards of housekeeping in the working area.
  • Key requirements
  • The ability to demonstrate written and numeracy skills.
  • The ability to follow written and pictorial instructions accurately.
  • The ability to safely use a range of hand tools used during the kitting process.

Desirable requirements

  • A comprehensive knowledge of the Ramtic kitting process.
  • Basic PC skills are required, although full training will be given to successful applicant.

Person specification

  • This role would ideally suit somebody who values the importance of attention to detail.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided whilst forming part of a team.
  • A positive “can do” attitude would also be of benefit.
  • Good communication skills are essential for the role.
