OneRen are seeking a dynamic and creative Freelance Book Festival Programmer to join the team to build on the success of the 2026 festival programme. The eighth edition of Paisley Book Festival will take place between 13 and 16 May 2027, coinciding with the opening year of Paisley Museum. The programme should include core festival events, and a series of industry‑led workshops held within OneRen’s newly transformed venues Paisley Town Hall and Paisley Central Library. The Programmer will liaise directly with a range of OneRen teams to support the development and delivery of the 2027 Paisley Book Festival and the associated schools’ programme as well as the Family Day event.

- Coordinate industry‑led workshops at Paisley Town Hall and Paisley Central Library.
- Collaborate with OneRen teams for the associated schools’ programme and Family Day event.
- Provide a testimonial from previous relevant work if shortlisted.

Timeframe: August–May 2027
Fee: £14,700 (approx 2 days a week, based on 7hrs per day at £31 per hr for 34 weeks).
