The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 € per year.
You will assist to develop and facilitate a wide range of health and wellbeing activities within our award-winning service for Council tenants living in sheltered and amenity housing throughout Renfrewshire.
For this new post, you must have experience of developing, delivering and facilitating a variety of participative social activities; as well as dealing with the public and working with local communities, vulnerable groups and a range of stakeholders and service providers.
It is essential that you have:
- An awareness of safeguarding vulnerable adult’s issues and other relevant legislation
- Effective organisational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential obstacles
- The ability to relate to people at all levels
- A flexible approach to work
You will be expected to manage your own workload with minimum supervision and use your own initiative when making decisions. You must have a flexible approach to working out with normal working hours.
An SVQ Level 2 Social Care, Health Care or equivalent is desirable. Experience of working with older adults and building good relationships with them, First Aid certificate, record keeping experience, experience of Microsoft Office packages and full driving licence is also desirable.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 6 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
