The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 £ per year.
You will undertake a range of administrative tasks in support of the delivery of a comprehensive, customer focused, business support service across Renfrewshire Council.
Key tasks for which you will be responsible include:
- Supervision of staff
- Duties including meeting and greeting visitors and dealing with customer enquiries online and by telephone in line with Customer Care standards
- A range of administrative tasks including the preparation of correspondence, reports and minute taking as required
- Data quality checking/quality assurance
- Maintaining a range of manual and computer based recording systems ensuring that all records for which the post holder is responsible are accurate, up to date and stored in line with Council Policy
It is essential that you have experience of:
- Customer service
- Carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks
- Working with standard computer systems including Microsoft Office packages i.e. Excel and Word
It is also essential that you have the ability to:
- Work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Meet deadlines and quality standards
- Multi-task
- Have organisational and communication skills
It is desirable that you have experience of supervising staff and developing processes and procedures, as well as a knowledge of Renfrewshire Council’s Corporate Policies and practices and Insurance Services. An SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent is also desirable.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 18 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier. If successful, you will be required to become a PVG Scheme Member.
