Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the delivery of care to older adults, consistent with Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership policies and social care in a way which respects their dignity as individuals and promotes their well-being.

You must have previous experience of working with older people and understand the importance of providing care in a professional and courteous manner to residents, relatives, carers, and health professionals.

You should be able to work on your own initiative, be flexible and adaptable with the capacity to learn.

The role includes supporting Social Care Assistants in their responsibilities.

It is essential that you hold or have the capacity to achieve an SVQ Level 3 in Care.

You must be able to work shifts, including weekends, on a rota basis.

You are required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council.
