The predicted salary is between 12000 - 18000 £ per year.
Based at various locations throughout Renfrewshire, you will provide advice, assistance and support to all tenants within our sheltered complexes. You will maintain tenant’s records; promote social events and activities; liaise with a variety of agencies; be responsible for security and fire safety within the properties as well as being a friend and adviser to tenants.
You must have experience of clerical/administrative work and of providing a service to older people or people with a disability. You must be able to work on your own, use your initiative when making decisions, be able to communicate effectively with tenants; have previous experience of liaising with a wide range of agencies and a knowledge of the needs of older people.
You should have a flexible approach to work, as you may be required to work overtime at short notice and work at any of our 11 Sheltered Housing Complexes. You will ideally have a qualification that meets the Scottish Social Services Council registration criteria e.g. SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification at Level 6 (Scottish Credit & Qualification Framework) or above, if not you must be prepared to undertake the qualification.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 6 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
