The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
We are looking for a well organised individual to ensure an effective business support service is provided to our stakeholders and customers.
Duties of the post include:
- Handling and processing manual and computerised information
- Instructing, allocating and checking work of employees
- Production and analysis of reports to deadlines
- Document production including typing letters, reports etc
- Processing financial data and information
- Communicating with internal and external customers including members of the public
You must have the ability to carry out a wide range of administrative tasks. Experience in dealing with the public and have IT skills, customer care and call handling skills, literacy and numeracy skills and ability to work to deadlines and quality standards.
It is essential that you have experience of:
- Maintaining and updating records
- Liaising with internal and external agencies
- Working with a range of software packages
- Working in a deadline driven environment
- Delivering a high standard of service to internal and external customers
- Effective communication and organisation skills
It is desirable that you have experience of:
- Supervising staff
- Using various financial systems e.g. Business World, NEC DM and Talentlink
- A knowledge of various systems and processes
An SVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent is also desirable.
If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
