Join Renfrewshire Council's Road Operations Team. This is an exciting time to join Renfrewshire Council. The Council is undertaking an ambitious Β£40 million five-year roads infrastructure investment programme. We are expanding our Road Operations team to deliver a wide range of priority infrastructure projects across Renfrewshire.

Location: Underwood Road Depot, Paisley.

As part of a team, you will undertake operations involving the maintenance of roads, footways, and drains, working with plant, equipment, and digital technology. You will participate in the Services Winter Maintenance and Summer standby service to ensure an effective response to winter weather conditions.

Qualifications and Skills: You should have a relevant qualification or evidence of professional competence and experience in highway maintenance. Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential. Flexibility and the ability to maintain effective working relationships are also important.

Additional Requirements: A driving license is desirable. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, with the level of check depending on the duties of the post.

Note: This post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding, initially for 3 months or until the requirement ceases, whichever is earlier.
