Advert Resources Officer (Temporary) An exciting opportunity has emerged to support the Education Resources team in a range of operational resource services’ functions.
This will include areas such as admissions, health and safety, repairs and maintenance, transport, requests for funding and grounds maintenance.
It is essential that you are educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent and have experience of working in a public sector environment.
You will have experience of delivering services in process driven environments and working with multi-agency and multi-disciplinary partners.
We are looking for someone who has experience of managing demanding customer relationships and has the ability to apply data to a variety of different scenarios.
You must have a have a willingness to appropriately seek help and advice when required and have experience of using standard computer systems including Microsoft Office.
It is essential that you have an understanding of health and safety legislation and property maintenance as well as the ability to analyse and apply data to planning scenarios and be meticulous in data handling.
Effective organisational & time management skills, the ability to multitask aswell as interpersonal, communication skills and the ability to be empathetic, calm, patient and maintain attention to detail are also essential.
You should possess the ability to work to strict deadlines, use initiative and maintain quality standards whilst working under pressure that requires you to prioritise your workload effectively.
It is essential you are able to deliver consistent standards of quality and performance, have the ability to advise and support colleagues at all levels in areas related to health, safety and property and have a flexible approach to work aswell as the ability to support activities across the Renfrewshire area.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 23 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
