The predicted salary is between 24000 - 33600 £ per year.

You will be responsible to the Accommodation Co-ordinator for assisting homeless applicants to move in/out of temporary accommodation.

Duties will include assisting customers to move furniture and belongings into and from houses and also delivering furniture starter packs. You will ensure that the houses and garden areas are kept clean and tidy and carry out minor repairs/DIY within short stay flats.

It is essential you have previous experience of dealing with the public in person, cleaning, caretaking and furniture removal and deliveries. You must have a knowledge of the Renfrewshire area; effective communication skills; a flexible approach to work with the ability to deal with service users in a sympathetic manner.

Previous experience of handling cash, maintaining stores, stock control; with a general knowledge of Housing Services or Homelessness and training in ergonomic manual handling is desirable.

A full current driving licence is essential.

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 12 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
