In this role, you will oversee support and advocacy services for women, and recovery services for women and children affected by gender-based violence.

You will provide strategic and professional leadership, drive policy and service development, manage performance and quality improvement, and strengthen multi-agency collaboration. The post also involves representing the Council in key governance groups, ensuring effective resource management, and promoting prevention, safeguarding, and continuous improvement.

You must be a qualified Social Worker and hold a Degree level qualification (degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work (DipSw) or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience supporting women and/or children impacted by gender-based violence and an understanding of a gendered analysis of domestic abuse and the impact on women, children and young people.
