Our Operations & Infrastructure teams provide critical frontline services to our communities across Renfrewshire, including waste collection, roads improvements, grass cutting and social transport.

We are looking for a Supporting Attendance Assistant, who will be enthusiastic with the skills and experience to deliver our ambitious agenda to provide maximum economic benefit for Renfrewshire.

Based at Underwood Road, Paisley, you will work with Managers and Supervisors to ensure appropriate support processes are in place to support attendance levels across our frontline workforce. You will have a passion for providing high quality services to the public and driving service improvements and organisational change.

It is essential that you have a business-related qualification or relevant experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant IT systems and effective organisational, time management and written and verbal communication skills.

You must have a working knowledge of the council’s Supporting Attendance Process and a flexible approach to working hours.

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 12 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.

If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
