Renfrewshire Council is seeking a highly motivated Senior Benefits Assessor to join our Assessment Team in Paisley.
You will process applications for the Scottish Welfare Fund, Discretionary Housing Payments and complex Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims.
You will determine eligibility, communicate outcomes by phone, mail or email, and liaise with other agencies as needed to maximise applicants’ income.
The role is temporary for 1 year.
