As an Additional Support Needs Assistant, you will be committed to working with young people/pupils with Additional Support Needs and be deployed to support young people within schools and other establishments across Renfrewshire.
Responsibilities:
- Work with young people/pupils with Additional Support Needs and be deployed to support young people within schools and other establishments across Renfrewshire, under the direction of the head teacher/head of establishment and in partnership with nominated class teachers.
Qualifications:
- Experience of working with and/or caring for Pre 5, Primary or Secondary age children.
- Demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience of ICT equipment and associated software packages.
Contract and Checks:
- Temporary post, subject to business needs and funding for 7 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is earlier.
- If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check determined by the duties of the post.
