Renfrewshire Councils, Building Services is looking to recruit Painters to undertake painting works in housing and public buildings.

All trade persons should have served a full trade painter apprenticeship to SVQ level 3 or equivalent and have experience of all painter work and related decoration work and associated tasks across a variety of different areas of property maintenance in either Housing, Schools or Public Buildings.

You will have effective communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels. In addition, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative, as part of a team and with a wide range of people. You will have the ability to organise your own workload and to work to deadlines. You will be able to adjust to changes in work demands at short notice and be flexible and able to facilitate fluctuating workload.

You must be willing to participate in flexible work patterns, out of hours emergency rota and undertake associated work in other trade skills by multi skilling. A full UK driving licence is essential.

If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
