Community Partnerships Officer

The Community Partnerships Team is uniquely positioned in Renfrewshire HSCP to develop links with third sector and community groups in order to provide support to our front-line colleagues to promote a more holistic way to achieve positive outcomes.

With a focus on prevention and early intervention, we build relationships across sectors to ensure that people living in Renfrewshire have knowledge and choice of a range of activities and services to help them maintain or improve their wellbeing, in some cases alongside health and care services and in others before they require more formal support.

The Community Partnerships Officer role is crucial to developing and maintaining these links.

You will have a track record of building connections, working with groups and using your initiative to introduce new ideas to enhance practice.

In recent years we have developed close links with partners in many sectors locally, such as physical activity and arts and culture, and we want to continue this so you must have an understanding of community and partnership working practices.

It is essential that you have experience of working within The Health Service and/or local authority as well as the ability to work on your own initiative.

It is essential that you have an SVQ Level 3 or above in relevant subject or relevant experience.
