Advert As a successful and inclusive school, the support provided for learners is at the highest quality and the work of the Pupil Support Team is key to this. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic team and the role of the Key Worker, working with young people who require targeted support in our nurturing base, and beyond. Therefore, it is essential that you are educated to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Previous experience of working with young people within an educational setting providing support to vulnerable young people and their families is also essential along with an understanding of issues facing pupils with additional support needs. You must have experience of the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) and knowledge of behaviour support strategies. You will have excellent communication, ICT, assessment and recording skills. Be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and have a flexible approach to the service. Experience of working with young people with ASN and ASL qualification are desirable. This post will be temporary for a period of 3 Months subject to business needs and funding. If successful, you will be required to become a PVG Scheme Member.
