Advert Housing Estate Manager (Council Housing) To harness the potential of ongoing housing investment throughout Renfrewshire’s Council Housing Estates, we are now looking for an outstanding individual to help lead the continued improvement of the estate management and environmental conditions in and around Council housing estates. As the strategic and operational Lead for estate management services in relation to the Council’s housing stock, reporting to the Area Housing Manager, you will support local housing teams by ensuring excellent services are delivered in Council housing estates in relation to services to maintain and improve the environment, with a focus on complementing investment and regeneration activity at a locality level. You will work in collaboration with services across the Council and partner agencies to achieve outcomes that will lead to effective results through the development of high quality, customer focused estate management services and the integration of housing concierge and caretaking services, strengthening local connections within our housing estates. You will have a track record in delivering effective services and you will also have leadership skills and the ability to make decisions using your own initiative, with the ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision. You should be an effective decision maker, influencer and negotiator with analytical, investigatory, written and verbal communication skills. It is essential you have a Degree and/or housing related qualification or a relevant qualification in Environmental or Neighbourhood Management or commitment to working towards a relevant qualification and/or experience of managing and/or leading within an environmental and/or estate management role or similar.
