Cluster 6 – HSCP, Care Homes throughout Renfrewshire

You will provide a consistent high-quality service in all areas allocated to you within the care home environment to ensure that the environment meets the requirements of the service specification and expectations of clients and staff alike.

Key tasks include; carrying out tasks related to catering, cleaning, and laundry services; ensuring that the clients\’ dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times; working within all areas of the care home environment and Facilities Management Soft Services as instructed by the Assistant Facilities Housekeeper or other appropriate manager. You will ensure that all areas used by clients and care staff are maintained to the required standard on a consistent and timely basis.

It is essential that you have experience working within catering, cleaning, and laundry services, and a high awareness of current hygiene practices. You must possess organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

An SVQ (or equivalent) in Catering, SVQ (or equivalent) in Cleaning, or elementary food hygiene certificate are desirable qualifications.

Location: Banktop Court

Working Pattern: 12-hour Housekeeping position working between 0900-1200, Monday to Friday, and 1500-1800 on weekends. 4 days over 7, 52 weeks.
